25 octombrie 2023Rețele Electrice Banat, Rețele Electrice Dobrogea and Rețele Electrice Muntenia (previously named E-Distribuție Banat, E-Distribuție Dobrogea and E-Distribuție Muntenia) are companies operating in the power distribution field. The three distribution companies have innovating operating styles, such as the agile methodology. Our priority is digitalization, in order to obtain resilient smart grids – operational as shortly as possible. Find out more about our objectives.
Our companies yearly distribute approximately 15TWh of electricity through more than 130,000 km of network – high, medium and low voltage underground and overhead power lines. Rețele Electrice Banat is a grid operator in Arad, Caraș-Severin, Hunedoara and Timiș counties.
Rețele Electrice Dobrogea is a grid operator in Călărași, Constanța, Ialomița and Tulcea counties.
Rețele Electrice Muntenia is the grid operator in Bucharest, Giurgiu and Ilfov.
Our services are:
connection to the grid, i.e. the connection of the electricity distribution customers
distribution of electricity to customers connected to the grid, depending on certain characteristics (e.g., power and voltage);
measurement, which relates to the installation and maintenance of meters, the monitoring and reporting of electrical measurements
We have approximately two million nine hundred customers – the number of PODs, i.e., places of consumption or production connected to our grid – which may be households, business customers, developers, producers. Such a large number of customers triggers extensive responsibility. We make sure we provide them with high quality services. How do we do that? Through the integrated management system we have adopted internally, which helps us reach high performance and certify it – we hold certifications of the quality management, environment management, occupational health and safety and energy management. Moreover, we yearly monitor customer.
