What kind of compensation can you claim in the case of electrical appliance damages?

We take all the necessary steps so that you daily benefit from electricity according to a technical quality compliant with the parameters set in the ANRE regulations. However, if in the case of overvoltage, your electrical appliances were affected because of our fault, you may claim damages.

Damages represent the amount of money that we are going to pay to residential customers through the electricity supplier, for the household appliances damaged as a consequence of an accidental overvoltage occurred in the power grid, pursuant to the network operator’s demonstrated fault. The process regarding the granting of damages is carried out according to the ANRE Order no. 177/2015.

Search on your electricity supplier’s website the application template that you are to fill out and send – or you can use this generic template. You will receive the answer to the damage application from the supplier.
