Development opportunities

We want our colleagues’ journey with us to be marked by development opportunities, we want to grow together. Training, coaching, personalised or technology-assisted learning – we explore the most interesting methods for the success of our people.

We have colleagues in Bucharest and in ten counties in the country - engineers, dispatchers and people working in the departments that support our key activity. Through dedicated training programmes, we also respond to their development need and to the need to build a culture where our values – innovation, responsibility, trust, proactive approach – are turned into facts.

Agile rooms

We are currently adopting the agile methodology for the new projects. We organize internal workshops where are colleagues become acquainted with the agile principles and collaborate for the implementation of new initiatives.

Training through VR

Our goal regarding the health and safety of people working with us is ambitious: zero accidents/incidents. In 2018, we succeeded in achieving it! One of the methods we have used with our colleagues on site was the practical training with the help of the VR technology, which allows for the realistic simulation of the conditions (plant and equipment, working at heights) and risks (electric shocks, falling from heights). The virtual reality project simulates a typical intervention scenario where colleagues must make the right decisions – follow the mandatory procedures in the case of interventions on power lines: delimit the work space, check whether voltage is available or interrupted, separate electrical circuits, earth the power line. Other training scenarios will be developed in the future.

Preparing competitions

Colleagues who want to participate in the dedicated competition “Electrician’s Trophy” can train on the equipment made available to them during the competition. The first ranked from amongst those who pass regional tests are awarded by the companies and continue to the next stage in the competition. Read the story about how we won the 2018 Cup.

Soft skills

We are aware that our employees’ passions also include other areas than energy-related technologies and we are open to helping them also develop other skills. Our goal is to make sure they have access to training programmes for various interrelation and communication skills.

Library

Interested colleagues benefit from subscriptions to a known platform from which they can borrow books in the professional fields that mostly stir their curiosity.
